Setting Your Watch Passcode
If you enter your passcode incorrectly three times, the watch locks temporarily. After five incorrect attempts, the watch locks until you reset your passcode in the Garmin Connect™ app. If you have not paired your watch with your phone, the watch deletes your data and resets to the factory default settings.
You can set up a watch passcode to secure your personal information when the watch is not on your wrist. If you are using the Garmin Pay™ feature, the watch uses the same four-digit passcode required to open your wallet (Garmin Pay).
The next time you remove the watch from your wrist, you must enter the passcode before you can view any information.
Changing Your Watch Passcode
You must know your existing watch passcode to change it. If you forget your passcode or make too many incorrect passcode attempts, you must reset it in the Garmin Connect app.
