Downloading Software Updates to the Prepared USB Flash Drive

Before you can download software updates to a USB flash drive, you must prepare the drive (Preparing a USB Flash Drive for Updates).

  1. On your computer, go to garmin.com/express, and follow the instructions to download and install the Garmin Express™ software.
  2. Start Garmin Express.
  3. Plug the prepared USB flash drive into a USB port on your computer.
  4. From Garmin Express, click Add a Device.

    The Garmin Express software detects your device.

  5. Click Add Device.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to add your device to the Garmin Express software.

    When setup is complete, the Garmin Express software searches for software updates.

  7. Select an option:

    • To install all available updates, click Install All.

    • To install a single update, click View Details and select an update.

The Garmin Express software downloads the updates onto the USB flash drive.

After you finish downloading the software updates onto the USB flash drive, you should install the updates onto the dock (Installing Downloaded Updates onto the RV HUB Dock).
