Browsing Media Files

When you are using a device connected to the USB port, you can browse the media files on your device.

The availability of song information, such as song title, artist name, track duration, and album cover artwork, depends on the information in the music files.

  1. With the USB, iPod, or MTPsource selected, select Context menu.
  2. Select an option:

    • If you are using the iPod or MTP source, select a category, such as Genres, Artists, or Albums.

    • If you are using the USB source, select the device name, and select a folder.

    A list of media files in the selected category or folder appears.

  3. Select a media file.

    The stereo plays the selected file and adds the remaining files in the list to the play queue.
