Connecting the Dock and Remote to a Wi-Fi Network
If your vehicle provides an existing wi-fi network, you can connect both the dock and the remote to the same network.

Select
to return to the Wi-Fi settings.

Select your vehicle wi-fi network, and enter the password, if necessary.
NOTE: You must select the same network name you selected in step 4.
The remote connects to the vehicle wi-fi, and
appears in the status bar. The remote and dock communicate over the network, and you can control the media playback on the dock using the remote.
On some networks, it may not be possible to use this configuration. If the remote cannot control the dock while both devices are connected to your vehicle wi-fi network, you should connect the remote using the dock access point (Connecting the Remote to the Dock Manually).
