Installing Downloaded Updates onto the RV HUB Dock

Before you can install updates onto the dock, you must download them onto a prepared USB flash drive using Garmin Express™ (Downloading Software Updates to the Prepared USB Flash Drive).

  1. Turn on the vehicle, and place the RV HUB remote in the RV HUB dock.

    The dock must be receiving power to install the updates.

    WARNING

    Do not attempt to update the software while operating the vehicle.

  2. Plug the USB flash drive into the USB port in your vehicle or on the back of the dock.
  3. Select Music > Context menu > Settings > Update.
  4. Select the dock device name.

    The default name is RV-BBT60X.

    The dock installs the software updates from the USB flash drive.

NOTICE

Do not turn off the vehicle until the update process is complete.

The dock restarts during the update process, and the remote disconnects from the dock. When the remote reconnects to the dock and Wireless network appears in the status bar, the update is complete.
