The status LED is flashing yellow
If the device status LED flashes yellow while the tail light is on, the device is in demo mode. When the device is in demo mode, artificial data is generated for demonstration only.
To exit demo mode, select an option:

Hold the device button for 2 seconds.

Remove the device from the power source, and reconnect it.
