Joining a GroupTrack Session
Before you can join a GroupTrack session, you must have a Garmin Connect™ account, a compatible smartphone, and the Garmin Connect app.
These instructions are for joining a GroupTrack session with Forerunner® devices. If your connections have other compatible devices, they can see you on the map. You are not able to view other GroupTrack members on your device.
- Go outside, and turn on the Forerunner device.
- Pair your smartphone with the Forerunner device (Pairing Your Smartphone with Your Device).
- From the settings menu in the Garmin Connect app, select .
- If you have more than one compatible device, select a device for the GroupTrack session.
- Select .
- Select Start LiveTrack.
- On your Forerunner device, start an activity.
