Maximizing Battery Life
You can do several things to extend the life of the batteries.
- Reduce the backlight brightness (Adjusting the Backlight).
- Reduce the backlight timeout (Display Settings).
- Reduce the flashlight brightness or flash frequency (Using the Flashlight).
- Turn off the screen automatically when the backlight times out (Turning Off the Screen).
- Use expedition mode (Turning On Expedition Mode).
- Turn off wireless connectivity (Wi‑Fi Settings).
- Turn off Bluetooth® technology (Bluetooth Settings).
- Turn off additional satellite systems (GPS and Other Satellite Systems).
