Creating a Track on the Map You can create a track by selecting points on the map, by drawing on the map, or a combination of the two. Select a location for the saved track (Selecting a Location for Saved Data Files). Select Tools > Track. Select an option: To create straight track segments between points, select two or more points on the map. To draw a track segment, select a point and drag to the next point. Repeat step 3 to add additional segments. Right-click to save the track. TIP: You can also press esc on your keyboard to save the track. The track appears as a gray line on the map.
