Replacing the Full Servo Assembly

  1. Remove the mount shrouds (Removing the Mount Shrouds).
  2. Open the shaft cap (Opening the Shaft Cap).
  3. Disconnect the cables in the shaft cap (Disconnecting the Cables in the Shaft Cap).
  4. Remove the shaft cap (Removing the Shaft Cap).
  5. Remove the depth-adjustment assembly (Removing the Depth-Adjustment Assembly).
  6. Remove the shaft from the steering servo housing (Removing the Shaft from the Steering Servo Housing).
  7. Remove the shaft mini-tumbler and biasing bushing (Removing the Shaft Mini-Tumbler and Biasing Bushing).
  8. Remove the servo landing pad (Removing the Servo Landing Pad).
  9. Disconnect the steering servo cables (Disconnecting the Steering Servo Cables).
  10. Remove the pivot pin (Removing the Pivot Pin).
  11. Remove the old servo assembly.
  12. Install the new bushings in the new servo assembly (Installing the Bushings in the Steering Servo Housing).
  13. Set the new servo housing in place.
  14. Reinstall the pivot pin (Reinstalling the Pivot Pin).
  15. Connect the steering servo cables (Connecting the Steering Servo Cables).
  16. Install the servo landing pad (Installing the Servo Landing Pad).
  17. Install the shaft in the steering servo housing (Installing the Shaft in the Steering Servo Housing).
  18. Install the shaft mini-tumbler and biasing bushing (Installing the Shaft Mini-Tumbler and Biasing Bushing).
  19. Install the depth-adjustment collar (Reinstalling the Depth-Adjustment Assembly).
  20. Install the shaft cap (Installing the Shaft Cap).
  21. Connect the cables in the shaft cap (Connecting the Cables in the Shaft Cap).
  22. Close the shaft cap (Closing the Shaft Cap).
  23. Install the mount shrouds (Installing the Mount Shrouds).
