Replacing the Full Servo Assembly
- Remove the mount shrouds (Removing the Mount Shrouds).
- Open the shaft cap (Opening the Shaft Cap).
- Disconnect the cables in the shaft cap (Disconnecting the Cables in the Shaft Cap).
- Remove the shaft cap (Removing the Shaft Cap).
- Remove the depth-adjustment assembly (Removing the Depth-Adjustment Assembly).
- Remove the shaft from the steering servo housing (Removing the Shaft from the Steering Servo Housing).
- Remove the shaft mini-tumbler and biasing bushing (Removing the Shaft Mini-Tumbler and Biasing Bushing).
- Remove the servo landing pad (Removing the Servo Landing Pad).
- Disconnect the steering servo cables (Disconnecting the Steering Servo Cables).
- Remove the pivot pin (Removing the Pivot Pin).
- Remove the old servo assembly.
- Install the new bushings in the new servo assembly (Installing the Bushings in the Steering Servo Housing).
- Set the new servo housing in place.
- Reinstall the pivot pin (Reinstalling the Pivot Pin).
- Connect the steering servo cables (Connecting the Steering Servo Cables).
- Install the servo landing pad (Installing the Servo Landing Pad).
- Install the shaft in the steering servo housing (Installing the Shaft in the Steering Servo Housing).
- Install the shaft mini-tumbler and biasing bushing (Installing the Shaft Mini-Tumbler and Biasing Bushing).
- Install the depth-adjustment collar (Reinstalling the Depth-Adjustment Assembly).
- Install the shaft cap (Installing the Shaft Cap).
- Connect the cables in the shaft cap (Connecting the Cables in the Shaft Cap).
- Close the shaft cap (Closing the Shaft Cap).
- Install the mount shrouds (Installing the Mount Shrouds).
