Touchscreen Controls
Selectable buttons on the PFW/MFW display feature rounded corners and a slightly different colored background. Some selectable buttons, such as OBS or CRS, are displayed when the appropriate FMS Navigation Mode is selected.
An AXIS™ flight display may be split into two windows. A PFD can be split to display a PFW (or traditional primary flight display) on one side of the screen, and a MFW (traditional multi-functional display) on the other side of the screen. A MFD can be split to display two separate MFW's to enable the pilot to have greater situational awareness during the flight.
-
Touch the Split / Full Button located in the top right or left corner of the display.
-
Press and hold the BACK Softkey for approximately two seconds.
When the display is in split screen mode, the softkeys on the bezel will control the corresponding side of the display.

The EIS display strip (if enabled) is also selectable for quick navigation to the Engine Application Page on the MFW. For more information refer to the EIS section.
