The AXIS™ flight display is controlled using the buttons and knobs on the bezel of the GDU™. As well as the bezel controls, the AXIS flight display features a touchscreen with selectable buttons for displaying menus, keypads, system alert window messages, and selecting full and split-screen options. The display recognizes input based on a touch or a gesture (such as sliding a finger). It is not necessary to apply pressure, as the touchscreen surface detects only the presence and movement of the finger, not pressure.
