The light ring on my adapter is flashing red
The light ring on the Garmin eLog™ adapter flashes red when the vehicle is moving and a driver is not logged into the Garmin eLog app, or when an incompatible USB mass storage device is connected.
- Verify Bluetooth® wireless technology is enabled on your mobile device.
- Verify location services are enabled on your mobile device.
- Log into the Garmin eLog app when the vehicle is stopped.
- Verify your USB mass storage device is functioning correctly and that it is using the FAT32 file system.
