Updating Device Firmware
You must keep your device firmware updated to maintain compliance with FMCSA regulations.
The Garmin eLog™ app notifies you when firmware updates for your Garmin eLog adapter are available.
Park the vehicle in a safe location with the engine running until the update is complete.
NOTE:
Do not turn off the engine during the update process.
