Updating Software with the ActiveCaptain App
You can go to garmin.com/videos/trolling_motor_update/ and watch a video to assist with the software-update process.
Software updates may require the app to download large files. Regular data limits or charges from your internet service provider apply. Contact your internet service provider for more information about data limits or charges.
The installation process will take several minutes.
NOTE:
To update the trolling motor, you must connect your mobile device directly to a dedicated
Wi‑Fi® network on the trolling motor using the
ActiveCaptain® app.
