Sharing Dive Settings Between Devices

NOTICE

It is your responsibility to use discretion when sharing information with others. Always ensure you are aware of and comfortable with the individual with whom you share information.

You can transfer dive settings between two dive computers. For example, you can share settings between your primary and backup dive computers, or your dive computer and that of another user, such as an instructor.

  1. Bring both dive computers within 3 m (10 ft.) of each other.
  2. On both dive computers, select an option based on the model:
    • From the watch face, hold MENU, and select Dive Setup > Setup Sharing.

    • On the home screen, select Dive Setup > Setup Sharing.

TIP: You perform a separate transfer for tissue load data from the Dive Setup > Advanced Settings menu.
  3. On both dive computers, select Settings symbol, and select an option for setup sharing on the pre-dive screen (optional).
  4. On both dive computers, select an option:
    • To receive dive settings, wait while the other dive computer sends the data.

    • To send dive settings, press DOWN, wait until your dive computer connects to the other device, and select the device.

  5. On both dive computers, confirm the data transfer (if necessary).
  6. On the dive computer receiving the data, press START, and select an option:
    • To view and accept some of the updated settings, select Review > Edit, select the settings to accept, and select Apply.

    • To accept and apply all the new settings, select Apply All.

    • To reject the new settings, select Decline.

The dive computer receiving the data performs a simulated dive test to confirm the new settings and tissue load. If there is an issue with the data sharing process, the dive computer receiving the data provides more details about the issue (Troubleshooting for Dive Setup Sharing).
