Entering a COM1 or COM2 Frequency using the FMS Knobs:
The FMS Knobs must be configured by the pilot to adjust the COM radio frequencies in the settings for the PFD/MFD. Refer to the Knob Operation Section in System Overview for more information on how to configure the FMS Knobs.
- Push the DCK to select the standby radio frequency that needs to be tuned (The text above the DCK will change between COM1 and COM2 when the knob is pushed).
- Turn the Outer DCK to adjust the MHz (left of the decimal).
- Turn the Inner DCK to adjust the kHz (right if the decimal).
- Touch the COM1 Button or COM2 Button on the CNS Bar when ready to transfer the standby frequency to the active position.
