When the AXIS system has direct control of the flight plan the LOC course pointer will automatically slew to the correct final approach course when an ILS, LOC, BC, LDA, or SDF approach is loaded into the active flight plan.

When flying a localizer back course approach, verify that the selected course matches the published front course. A ‘Check Course’ message below the HSI will appear if the course selection is not within 10° of either the front or back course for the selected approach.
