Applying Power to the System

The system is integrated with the aircraft electrical system and receives power directly from electrical busses. The AXIS™ flight display and its supporting sub-systems include both power-on and continuous built-in test features that exercise the processors, memory, and external inputs/outputs to provide safe operation.
When power is applied, the PFW momentarily displays test annunciations, which should extinguish typically within the first minute of operation. On the PFW the Air Data and Attitude and Heading Reference System (ADAHRS) begins to initialize. The ADAHRS should display valid attitude and altitude typically within the first minute of operation.
