Setting the Barometric Altimeter Preset While in STD Setting:

  1. While the standard barometric setting is active and the DCK is configured to adjust the barometric setting, turn the Outer DCK to create a preset altimeter setting that will be entered the next time the 'STD' setting is disabled.

    Or:

    1. While the standard barometric setting is active touch the Barometric Altimeter Datafield Button (Kollsman window).
    2. Enter the desired preset altimeter setting using the numeric keypad and then touch the Preset Button. (Note: the preset value will be displayed at the bottom of the altimeter, just above the Barometric Altimeter Datafield Button.)
  2. To load the preset pressure as the active setting:
    1. Push the DCK to deactivate the 'STD' pressure setting.

    Or:

    1. Touch the Barometric Altimeter Datafield Button.
    2. Touch the Enter Button on the keypad.
