System Annunciations

NOTICE
Refer to the original POH, Aircraft Flight Manual, or Supplemental AFM for pilot actions in cases of system failure.
When the system issues a message, the System Button flashes white until the pilot opens the 'Messages' Window to view the alert. When an LRU or an LRU function fails, a large red ‘X’ is typically displayed over the instrument(s) or data experiencing the failure. Upon AXIS™ power-up, certain instruments remain invalid as equipment begins to initialize. All instruments should be operational within one minute of power-up. If any instrument remains flagged, and it is not likely an installation related problem, the AXIS display should be serviced by a Garmin-authorized repair facility. Refer to Appendix A for more information on system alerts, annunciations, and failures and messages.
