When connected to a GPS satellite signal, you can use your Edge^® bike computer to create a timing gate series, using locations along a route to record split times over multiple runs through the virtual gates. Each circuit through the timing gate is known as a run. During a ride, the bike computer records a split time when you pass a gate, and indicates if the split was faster or slower than the split from the fastest run in that ride.
