Setting Up the Alpha System
Avoid using a high-powered radio (greater than 5 watts) in close proximity to the device. It may cause irreversible damage to the device.
Before you can use the Alpha® handheld device and the TT™ 15 dog collar device, you must set up the devices.
- Install the battery in the handheld device (Installing the Battery Pack).
- Charge the handheld device (Charging the Handheld Device).
- Charge the dog collar device (Charging the Dog Collar Device).
- Turn on the devices (Turning On the Devices).
- If necessary, add the dog collar device to the handheld device (Adding a Dog Using Wireless Pairing).
- Acquire satellite signals (Acquiring Satellite Signals).
- Attach the collar (Fitting the Collar on Your Dog).
