Connecting the Device to Your Computer
You can connect the device to your computer using a USB cable.
NOTE:
USB-C® to
USB-C cables are not supported. You must use a
USB-C to USB-A cable with a maximum length of 1 m (3 ft.) to connect the device to a computer.
- Plug the USB cable into the available USB port located on the wiring harness under the vehicle cowling.
- Plug the other end of the USB cable into a port on your computer.
Depending on your computer operating system, the device appears as either a portable device, a removable drive, or a removable volume.
