Downloading a Software Update Manually

You can download the proper update file for your stereo, stereo accessory, or applicable connected entertainment devices from the Garmin® website and manually prepare a USB flash drive to update the stereo.

  1. Select an option:

    • If you want to download the single-stereo USB software update or an accessory software update file, go to the page for your stereo or stereo accessories on support.garmin.com.

    • If you want to download the entertainment package to update all Fusion Apollo™ stereos connected as part of an entertainment network using Ethernet cables, and any Garmin Spectra™ lighting controllers connected to the same NMEA 2000® network as the stereo, go to garmin.com/support/software/marine/.

  2. Download the stereo update file, the accessory update file, or the entertainment package update file.
  3. Insert a properly-formatted USB flash drive of sufficient size into your computer.
  4. Extract the contents of the .zip file to the root of a USB flash drive.

    The contents of the software update are contained in a folder named Garmin.

  5. Eject or safely remove the USB flash drive from the computer.
