Lubricating the Hinges and Bushings Apply a non-stick, dry-film lubricant to each hinge point, including the space between the moving parts. Move the motor from the stowed to the deployed position and back a few times to distribute the lubricant. If necessary, apply additional lubricant and repeat the previous step.
