Installing the Motor on the Mount
When transporting the trolling motor, always use the handle on the back of the steering system housing and be mindful of the propeller drive motor and the propeller, to prevent the possibility of personal injury or property damage.

Lower the motor onto the mount at an approximately 45-degree angle, matching the pivot knobs on the motor with the pivot brackets on the mount.

Start the pull rope partly into the eyelet on the front of the motor steering system, and pull the upper part of the rope up until it slips into the eyelet.
