Taxiway Landing
The Taxiway Landing alert is issued when the aircraft attempts to land on a non-runway (e.g., a taxiway). The system determines this when the On-Final phase-of-flight is valid, the aircraft is below 250 feet AGL, within one nautical mile of the runway threshold, and the aircraft is not aligned with a runway.
In addition to the visual and voice alert, the Information Box will display the destination airport identifier and the text 'Approaching TWY' to indicate a non-runway landing is being attempted.
