ADS-B Traffic Advisory System (ATAS)
The system mutes TA voice alerts from ADS-B sources when own aircraft is below 400 feet AGL.
ADS-B Traffic Advisory System (ATAS) is an alerting algorithm which provides ADS-B traffic alerts to the flight crew which are similar in nature to the TAS Traffic system discussed previously.
When a TA occurs, the system displays an amber ‘TRAFFIC’ annunciation on the PFDs and provides a voice alert.
