Installing the Coil Cable Block on the Steering System

If you are installing a replacement coil cable, we recommend installing it in the shaft first (Installing the Coil Cable in the Shaft Cap).

  1. Place the coil cable block over the connector on the steering system, and push it into place, taking care to avoid damaging the connector.

  2. Using a 4 mm hex bit or screwdriver, insert and tighten the three screws to secure the coil cable block to the steering system.
  3. Tighten the three screws to 2 N-m (18 lbf-in)
