Replacing the Depth-Adjustment Collar
- Remove the shaft (Removing the Shaft).
- Slide the depth adjustment collar up and off the shaft.

Install the new depth adjustment collar on the shaft, making sure it is in the
correct orientation.
The depth adjustment collar is keyed to fit the shaft in a certain orientation. If you meet any resistance, rotate the shaft adjustment collar until it slides onto the shaft easily.
- Slide the shaft down towards the propeller drive motor to keep it out of the way as you reinstall the shaft.
- Reinstall the shaft (Reinstalling the Shaft).
