Replacing the Propeller

Using a
9/16 in (15 mm) socket, remove the nut that secures the propeller.

- Remove the propeller and set aside the lock washer, flat washer and sacrificial anode.
- Make sure the pin in the propeller motor shaft is in place, and replace it if necessary.
- Install the new propeller.
- Place the anode, flat washer, lock washer, and nut back on the propeller drive shaft.
- Using a 9/16 in (15 mm) socket, tighten the nut to 16.27 N-m (12 lbf-ft) to secure the propeller.
