Terrain
The Map Page on the MFW is the principal page for viewing terrain information. Aviation data (airports, VORs, and other NAVAIDs) can be disabled to reference only terrain data.
The Map Page also shows potential impact areas. If terrain or obstacles (optionally including wire obstacles) and the projected flight path of the aircraft intersect, the display automatically adjusts to a map range if necessary to emphasize the display of the potential impact area.
Map range is adjustable by pinching in or out with two fingers from 400 feet to 1500 NM, which is indicated on the map range arc.
