The 'Weather Menu' controls the enabling/disabling of weather products for 'Datalink Weather'. The 'Map Menu' controls the enabling/disabling of weather products for the 'Map'.
When viewing the 'Map' with a data link weather overlay information enabled, displaying a different map and returning to the original map will ensure the most current weather overlay information is displayed.
The system displays additional information about the following weather products by touching the product on the map.

The system provides the ability to select a map orientation for 'Weather' on the selected MFW. In addition to the Heading Up, Track Up, and North Up display options, the system can also synchronize 'Weather' orientation to the 'Map' orientation.
The weather product age and availability information appears automatically when a weather product is shown on 'Weather'. The pilot can manually enable/disable the display of this information on the HSI Map.
