Setting the Altitude Buffer Distance:

Navigate to the 'Apps' window by
pressing the MENU Softkey two times.
Or:
Touch the Applications Icon on the Applications Bar.
- Touch the Settings & Tools Tab.
- Touch the Alerts Button.
- Touch the Alert Altitude Buffer Button.
- Using the numeric keypad enter a value between 0 and 32808 feet.
- Touch the Enter Button.
