Deleting Databases:

Touch the Applications Icon on the MFW App Bar.
Or:
Press the MENU Softkey two times to open the 'Apps' Window.
- If necessary, touch the Settings & Tools Tab.

Touch the Databases Button.
- Select the database to be deleted (Active, Standby, or Catalog).
- Touch the Marked for Deletion Annunciation Button (Active and Standby). Touch the Delete Database Button if attempting to delete a Catalog Database.
Or:

Press the MENU Softkey (on the
'Database Status' Window side of the bezel if in split screen mode).
Or:
Touch the Menu Icon in the top right corner of the 'Database Status' Window.

Touch the All Active
Marked for Delete Annunciation Button to delete all active databases on the next
system power cycle.
Or:
Touch the All Standby Marked for Delete Annunciation Button to delete all standby databases on the next system power cycle.

To initiate a power cycle:

With the 'Database Status' Window open, and a database marked for deletion, touch
the Menu Icon at the top right
corner of the window.
Or:
Press the MENU Softkey (on the 'Database Status' Window side of the bezel if in split screen mode).
- Touch the Restart Avionics Button (this button will be subdued if the aircraft is not on the ground).

The prompt, "Restart Avionics? XX Database(s) will be Deleted" will open.
Touch the OK Button to initiate the power cycle of the avionics unit.
Or:
Touch the Cancel Button to cancel the process and return to the 'Database Status' Window.

With the 'Database Status' Window open, and a database marked for deletion, touch
the Menu Icon at the top right
corner of the window.
