Aural Alerts

NOTICE

For single pilot aircraft the 'Split COM' function will remove aural alerts from the passenger and co-pilot headsets.

The following audio alerts are announced by the system. If the optional Terrain Awareness and Warning System or Terrain Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) is installed, voice alerts are also generated (refer to the Hazard Avoidance section).

Voice Alert

Description

"Minimums Minimums"

Aircraft has reached the user-defined MDA/DH.

"Canopy"

A canopy closed input is not active.

"Door Open"

A door closed input is not active.

"Flaps"

Dependent on system configuration. The flaps in their current position, given the speed of flight, could cause structural damage to the airframe.

"Trim"

Trim not is take-off position.

Vertical Track tone

Aircraft is within one minute of reaching a Bottom of Descent (BOD) or Top of Descent (TOD) point

"Speed"

Aircraft is in an overspeed condition

Pitch or yaw trim in a runaway condition

A configured RPM tolerance has been exceeded.

"Engine Power"

A configured torque or manifold pressure tolerance has been exceeded.

"Engine Temperature"

A configured Cylinder Head Temperature or Exhaust Gas Temperature tolerance has been exceeded.

"Oil Temperature"

A configured oil temperature tolerance has been exceeded.

"Oil Pressure"

A configured oil pressure tolerance has been exceeded.

"Fuel Pressure"

A configured fuel pressure tolerance has been exceeded.

"Fuel"

A configured fuel quantity tolerance has been exceeded.

"Voltage"

A configured voltage tolerance has been exceeded.
