Removing Waypoints From A Flight Plan:

Individual waypoints can be deleted from a flight plan. Some waypoints in the final approach segment (such as the FAF or MAP) can not be deleted individually.

  1. With the active flight plan open touch the waypoint or procedure button of the desired waypoint or procedure to be deleted.
  2. Scroll the list, if necessary, and touch a Waypoint Selection Button to display the 'Waypoint Options' Window. Then, touch the Remove Waypoint Button.
  3. The pilot will be prompted to verify the deletion of the waypoint. Touch the OK Button to delete the waypoint from the flight plan.

    Or:

    If muultiple waypoints are needing to be deleted, touch the Delete Multiple Button.

  4. The original waypoint selected for deletion is subdued in the following list, select the waypoint though which all waypoints between the two selections will be deleted.
  5. A verification window will appear that allows the pilot to go back and change the waypoints to be deleted, cancel the process, or accept by touching the OK Button.
