Maintenance Messages
Maintenance messages are triggered when there is a major system issue (e.g., mismatched software). The System Button will flash (white and black inverse video) when a maintenance message persists while the aircraft is on the ground only. While in flight these messages provide supplemental information that provide a reference to a condition that is already alerted somewhere else in the system.
To navigate to the maintenance messages touch the System Button > Maintenance Tab. A numerical visual indication on the Maintenance Tab will indicate the amount of maintenance messages present for the system.
