The SurfaceWatch™ Information Box is displayed on the PFW to the right of the HSI. It contains runway and taxiway information that dynamically changes as the aircraft moves through the airport environment. The information that is displayed in the Information Box is the aircraft’s relative position to nearby aprons, taxiways, and runways.

There are three components to the SurfaceWatch Information Box as shown in the following figure. These components are Currently Occupied, Approaching, and Crossing.
