Digital switches are offline or in error state
There are several factors that can contribute to digital switches showing as offline or in error state.
NOTE:
If you use a digital switching device, it must be of a type that uses the
NMEA 2000® PGNs for
Momentary and
Latching switch control (PGN 127501 and PGN 127502) and configured for this type of switching.
- Verify the digital switching device has not failed.
- Verify the digital switching device is securely connected and powered.
- Verify there is no overcurrent to the digital switching device.
- Check the instructions for the digital switching device for troubleshooting information.
