By default the security sensor is configured as Not Connected. After installing the sensor, you must configure the sensor as Connected to view the sensor activity in the Sensors list and receive alarm notifications (Configuring the Security Sensor) .

If you have not installed and configured the security sensor, you can still enable the Security and Location Alarm to detect vessel movement (Turning on the Security and Location Alarm).
