Creating an Interval Workout

Your Edge® 1050 bike computer comes preloaded with a default interval workout that you can customize to create your own interval workout.

  1. Select Training > Workouts > Intervals > Edit > Intervals > Target Type.
  2. Select an option.
    TIP: You can create an open-ended interval by setting the type to Open.
  3. If necessary, enter a high and low value for the interval.
  4. Select Duration, enter a time interval value, and select Checkmark symbol.
  5. Select Back symbol.
  6. Select Rest > Target Type.
  7. Select an option.
  8. If necessary, enter a high and low value for the rest interval.
  9. Select Duration, enter time value for the rest interval, and select Checkmark symbol.
  10. Select Back symbol.
  11. Select one or more options:
    • To edit the number of repetitions, select Repeat.

    • To add an open-ended warm up to your workout, select Warm Up.

    • To add an open-ended cool down to your workout, select Cool Down.
