Locating or Tracking a User
In the user list, you can request a user's current location, or you can enable tracking on the user's device. While tracking is enabled, the user's device sends regular location updates at a set interval until tracking is disabled.
- From the map, select a user.

To request the user's current location, select .

To receive periodic location updates by enabling tracking on the user's device, select Track, select a location update interval from the drop-down list, and select OK.

The system sends the request to the user's device. To receive a location update response, the user's device must be turned on and have a clear view of the sky. It may take up to 20 minutes to receive a response from the user's device. If the user's device cannot be reached, the system continues attempting to send the request for up to 5 days.
