Notes:
- This tool can be used to generate checklists for G1000 NXi and G2/3/5000 integrated flight deck systems.
- The file format for the checklist file is .gcl
- This file format is compatible with platforms that use GDU SW v20.x and later. Checklist files in .ace format will not work on new systems.
- For Garmin G300, G3X cockpit display systems, GPSMAP 695/696, aera 796/795 and GTN with software 5.13 or higher, please use the legacy checklist editor at Checklist Editor (Legacy)
- DISCLAIMER Operational approval may be required for the use of any electronic checklist developed for certified aircraft. Any checklist created with the checklist tool for certified aircraft may require additional operational airworthiness approval and cannot replace the official Flight manual and/or checklist required by the Type Certificate or Supplemental Type Certificate. Do not use an unapproved checklist during flight operations.

- CAS Linking Related Changes:
- Import multiple .game files or a single .arcade file to search for program specific CAS alerts.
- Support setup of a link between specific level of the CAS alert (Warning/Red, Caution/Amber, etc) and the associated checklist. (Needs GDUv31.10)
- Allow linking of two checklists to a CAS alert as long as they are linked to different levels of the alert message (Warning/Red, Caution/Amber, etc). (Needs GDUv31.10)
- Implement validation to limit the total group count to 8 when CAS link feature is enabled. The 9th tab is repurposed for CAS link display.

- New Types of Branch Entries:
- Support creation of a branch entry with a single item. This can be used to implement a sub-procedure in the checklist. (Needs GDUv31.10)
- A multi branch item has a header with a checkbox. It is now possible to hide the header checkbox and associated text. (Needs GDUv31.10)

- Misc Updates:
- Font size 20 is only supported on the NXi display. Added a UI tip and user guide note to cover this.
- Fixed handling of manual line breaks, consecutive spaces, and leading spaces on text entry types.
- Manual line breaks, consecutive spaces, and leading spaces are now correctly BLOCKED on Checkbox type entries.
- .ACE imports now correctly convert degree symbols.
- Improved documentation of JSON format.

Installation Instructions
- Download and run the self-extracting executable file and follow the on-screen prompts to install the checklist editor.
- To use a checklist file with your GIFD, save the .gcl file to the root level of an SD card and insert it into the unit's card slot.
- For further instructions, consult the checklist editor application's Help menu.
