SOFTWARE TOOL: Checklist Editor software version 2.30

This software is used to create checklist files for the Garmin G300, G3X cockpit display systems, GPSMAP 695/696, aera 796/795 and GTN with software 5.13 or higher
Currently help files are unavailable for Windows Vista and Windows 7.
The file format is compatible with G900/G950/1000 and G2/3/5000 Integrated Flight Deck platforms with display software version earlier than 20.x.
Checklists used on Garmin Integrated Flight Deck systems may be displayed as a blank page if the file contains a long sentence with contiguous characters. This can be corrected by adding a space character in the sentence.

For example, 'This-is-a-long-sentence' can be changed to 'This-is-a long-sentence'. The number of characters supported in a sentence depends upon the GIFD system.

G900/G950/G1000: up to 40 characters

G2/3/5000: up to 18 characters

Garmin strongly recommends the author of the checklist file to carry out a functional system test prior to in-flight use. The validation should be carried out on the GIFD hardware while the aircraft is on ground.
DISCLAIMER - Operational approval may be required for the use of any electronic checklist developed for certified aircraft. Any checklist created with the checklist tool for certified aircraft may require additional operational airworthiness approval and cannot replace the official Flight Manual and/or checklist required by the Type Certificate or Supplemental Type Certificate. Do not use an unapproved checklist during flight operations.

Download and run the self-extracting executable file and follow the on-screen prompts to install the ACE checklist editor.
To use a checklist file with your Garmin cockpit display or portable GPS unit, save the .ace file to the root level of an SD card and insert it in the unit's card slot.
