Outputting Composite Video

Before you can output composite video, you must purchase the VIRB® rugged combo cable accessory. Go to http://virb.garmin.com/products/rugged-combo-cable-virbx-xe. You must also have an RCA composite video cable.

You can display composite video on an external display.

  1. Hold MENU.
  2. Select Video > Video Out to enable composite video output.
  3. Align the charger posts on the accessory cable with the contacts on the side of the device, and press the accessory cable until it clicks.
  4. Connect an RCA composite video cable to the VID OUT connector of the accessory cable and to an available port on your external display.
