My camera does not turn on

If the camera is connected to external power and the top status LED is either off or solid red, hold
POWER to turn on the camera.
The camera does not turn on automatically when connected to external power. When the top status LED is solid red, the camera is in charging mode. When the top status LED is off, the battery is fully charged, and the camera is off.

If the camera turns off due to a high temperature warning, wait for the camera to cool down, and move to a lower-temperature area or disable unneeded features.
Some features, such as 5.7K recording mode, require more processing power and reduce the camera's ability to operate in high-temperature environments. Using default settings, the camera operates in temperatures of up to 40°C (104°F).
