Receiving Traffic Data Using a Traffic Receiver

Before you can receive traffic data, you must have a device model that includes lifetime traffic and you must use the vehicle power cable packaged with your device. Go to www.garmin.com/traffic for more information.
Your device can receive traffic signals from a station broadcasting traffic data.
- Connect the traffic-compatible power cable to an external power source.
- Connect the traffic-compatible power cable to the device.
When you are within a traffic coverage area, your device displays traffic information.
