Voice Control
You can use your voice to control the chartplotter using a compatible headset.
You can also use your voice to control the chartplotter using a compatible Garmin® watch.
NOTE:
Chartplotters older than the
GPSMAP® 9000 series do not have built-in
Bluetooth® technology. For earlier models, you must install the
Garmin Voice Control USB module (010-13194-00) to enable voice control.
NOTE:
Both headsets and
Garmin watches connect to the chartplotter using
Bluetooth technology for voice control. Due to
Bluetooth standards, this is not a secure, private connection.
